How Roots & Rhymes prepares and delivers printed books across India.
Last updated: 29 August 2026Pre-order books are dispatched in approximately 20–30 working days after payment and order confirmation, unless a different timeline is confirmed in writing. Books are dispatched only after printing, quality checking and packing are complete.
We ship within India through third-party courier partners. Delivery time depends on the destination, courier service and circumstances outside our control.
Orders with a merchandise subtotal of ₹1,000 or more qualify for free shipping within India. For orders below ₹1,000, shipping is calculated separately based on delivery location and parcel weight, and confirmed before payment.
Tracking information is shared when available. Dispatch, out-for-delivery and delivered updates are sent through the available customer contact channel. If a delay occurs, we will notify you and assist with the courier enquiry.
Customers are responsible for a complete address and reachable phone number. If a parcel is unclaimed, refused or returned to sender, re-shipping charges may apply. Refunds, if eligible, are processed after the returned parcel is received and reviewed.
Please contact us within 48 hours with the order reference, delivery label, clear photographs and an unboxing video where available. We will review damage, shortage or loss with the courier and confirm the next step.
